That's a negative P-11, no fire needed, scene has been cleared and medical personnel should be able to handle this

Pull's into the warehouse and turns of the siren.Jumps out of the truck and walks around and gets the trauma bag and the stretcher. I walk into the door and get approached by a co-worker.
"You have got to help Bobby, he is not awake at all"
"Alright mam just calm down where is Bobby?"
She takes me through this winding corridor and then I see a middle aged white man laying on the ground. I walk over to him and check to make sure he is breathing, which he is.
"Anyone know if he has any past medical history on Bobby?"
I put him on 15 L NRB and start assessing him
"No not that we know of" they said.

"Copa still trying to package my patient he has come to and is alert a little bit. Patient number 2 has a broken arm but I am more worried about mine. I can transport 2 if need be if BLS is on another call."

(Sorry was at the station yesterday)
"BLS-2 the easiest way for you to get access to the patient is coming to the back of the warehouse and parking your ambulance at the second door. It should be open so you can come in and we are to the right once you walk in"
I get some help with some by standers and put my patient on the stretcher. I check his vitals and his B/P is 180/110 and his Pulse- 115 and his R- 20. I ask the patient questions but he acts like he doesn't want to answer.
"COPA from ALS-1 I need to transport my patient to the hospital ASAP but I can't really leave the other patient by himself. Can we get a status report on BLS-2?"

BLS2 is due shortly, there are trained industry first responders on the scene and since this is only a minor injury from 911 reports, just confirm it is nothing requiring emergency assistance this moment and a first responder can handle it. If it's clear by you, you're clear to head off the scene with your critical patient

    "10-4"
"Alright guys I need to get this guy to the hospital and get him taken care of, another ambulance should be here shortly"
I roll the stretcher to the back of ALS-1, open the doors and load him up. Once I get him in the back I take the portable oxygen off of him and put him on the oxygen in the truck. Then I start a 18 gauge IV with 1000cc NaCl. I tell my driver to head to the hospital and were off.

"ALS-1 is en route to the hospital with 1, non emergency"

En route I start doing my detailed assessment and find some tenderness on his abdomen on his right upper quadrant. He yells every time I palpate it so we will have to wait for the hospital to do a couple of tests before we know what the problem is. I retake his vitals and noticed that his B/P is now at 150/90 so its coming down, and his Pulse is at 105. He is really starting to calm down a lot, I then call in my report to the hospital.

"ALS-1 is out at the hospital"
