Test Alert

"Raven I'll have you come in here. Is there another FD member outside still?"

"Yes, Chuck is. I'll get some class B hazmat gear on with the help of him and come in." I say and turn off the nozzle, then make my way down the ladder. "Chuck help me in to this suit." I say taking off my turn out coat and opening the relief on the ladder.

Just get the canister and make sure it's not toxic. Shouldn't be anything in need of decon

((Wait just so we're clear no suit?))

"Then have chuck go up the ladder before you come in here"

"Right"
((I'm going to pull a sims and turn around and I'm in a B))
"Chuck get up on the ladder and hose down that area."
I grab the HAZ-MAT tools and go in.
"Chris where are you?" I say my voice muffled.

*Heads up ladder and hoses down area.*

"OK Ewan. Go ahead and check the canister. I'm standing by for any injuries."

Do we need a perimeter set up?

I make my way to the back of city hall, and I find everyone gaping at a smoking object. "Everyone get out, stay in the hall." I bend down awkwardly and open the tool box. First I measure for radiation. There is none. I pull out the chemical tester, it's inconclusive. I pull out a screw driver and remove the casing. I pull off the casing and of the device and take a laugh. I pull out a set of five M-18 smoke grenades. I leave the room.
"There's your problem" I say my voice muffled.

I pull out my radio and say to Ewan,"What did you find? Are you alright?"

I fumble for the radio "Yeah we just found some smoke grenades." I say. Then I grab an extinguisher from the wall and spray the grenades.

"OMFG! Who did this!?" I go to DCBurke and tell him about this.

((May want to edit this, this is a training call or what have you. Plus a report was already made))

"Wow!"

*looks around*

"I guess this was a training call, hmmm..."

((At least I assume it is, nothing definitive.))
"Maybe, but I wouldn't count on anything yet." I say "Will someone help me out of this chickens**t outfit?"

"Yeah sure!" *Feels embarrassed...* (But you never know...)

I pull off the hood and mask. "Phew that feels better. I want a beer today."

*starts laughing*

"I'm glad I didn't have to get decontaminated"

Says to raven "You and me both"

"Did you put any in the truck? But don't have too many; we're still on a call!"

"Yeah, I'll buy a round for anyone who wants tocome after work today."

(I'm not 13 in here, so why not!)

Alright men, we've got the area clear. All units return to station. PC6 can clear once fire is gone.

Just for the record this was not a training call, we do those at either the academy, or city/town emergency centres.. This was more of a demo for the public at city hall.

Once area is clear I'll post my report of the call.

WOW! I feel releived! *Begins packing up and heads back to the station. Looking forward to spending a night with the guys after work!*

"Ladder one returning to base."

"lets get back to the station. I see Davis cleaning this truck in his future."

"And I see a nice cold brew in our future."

AWWW!! Why me?! Can I do the sirens to the next call then? (Or drive! Don't worry, I'm a great driver!) I like Ewan's idea!

"SUP1 to COPA, Im available in the SW part of the response area."

*walks back to truck, opens door and gets in, starts up truck, pulls into traffic, and shut off emergency lights*

"Because your the newbie on our rig"

*Starts hoseing down truck at the station.* "You got a point!"

"Sorry, I'm the driver here."

LUCKY! Can I take your place when you get your promotion? Or is McEvoy gonna drive?

"I stay in the officer seat, so I guess you can when he gets switched to a different rig"

"I don't know"

"Good call! Time for bed anyway!" **Finishes cleaning truck and heads off to bed.**

Partol 6 clear.

Tac clear.

**Puts away all forcible entry tools, takes off the B.A bottle and restraps it inside, takes the firefighter checkoff book out, and puts down the usage, then signs it.**
"Time to get back."

**I start up the engine, everyone gets on board**

"Engine 11 available"

**I drive us back to the station**

"Engine 11 at station, back in service"
