We've received numerous 911 calls for a possible sinkhole type event. The road has collapsed in and three cars have been lost. The occupants of two of the vehicles were not inside at the time, however the third car did have a passenger inside. TVFD will be able to provide basic medical support and an additional 6 men to the rescue efforts, however at this time, no more information is available, including the cause of this sinkhole.
Time: 1639h
Weather: Nice and warm
Concerns: Hole could be caused by flooding, a cavern, or anything else. Use caution
Restrictions: You may lose up to one vehicle in the hole, though not totally and forever, just enough to put it out of commission, please do not do so unless you are the officer. If both vehicles are lost, both officers will be fired. No personnel injuries. You may only have the vehicle disabled temporarily and not permanently, because if that happens, you're stuck with the old reserve unit forever, as well as a beating from numerous ERT staff.(I would enjoy not losing either vehicle, but one may sink partially into it, trapping the empty cab or something, but not disabling it forever, or causing a huge operations to evacuate it. No trapping our guys or TVFD either please.
