Shooting Alert:

*All units broadcast radio, gong at stations, no yelps, two yelps on police and ems radios*
"All units be advised, we have reported shooting in Trulit. Requesting two medic units to the scene at the state fair admin office just inside the gate. TSD has the shooter in custody. One victim in critical condition, possible others. Police is not needed at this time. Requesting Two medic units, and medical support on standby pending request by first on scene."

911 calls reported a shooting in the state fair ground, and a Trulit sheriff deputy was able to respond and subdue the shooter immediately. One victim is down, and first aid is in progress, but no medical units were able to respond, as TVFD was understaffed. When arriving unit shows, please report if additional support is needed. At least one other victim with minor injuries is needed.

Weather: Clear but windy!
Concerns: Possible other injuries, such as minor bruises, cuts etc.
Restrictions: No police. TSD handled it. No more than two other minor injuries. Only kill one person, IF someone dies.Also, Kaizer respond.

* I throw off the white lab coat, and walk quickly to the EDRC. I unplug the external power, and get in.

(I'm confused about all the support. Am I the medical support too?)

*I step into the driver seat, Kelly is already in the passenger seat. I start up the ambulance, put it in drive, press the Master switch on to turn on the lights, then turn on the siren as I pull into the road*

*I turn to Kelly*
'Wow, first shift, second call, and already a shooting. You're having a good shift so far.'

* I hear the chatter over the band at the firehouse and pick up my portable. *

" COPA, Pump-11. We can also pick up on this call as well if necessary. "

"Standby P-11 until responding medic unit can report the scene. There may be additional needs to be treated, if so, we'll send out a fire unit for support, however EDRC is only reporting one major victim, and no other visibles in need, however we'll advise when we hear from someone who can take the time to check

(So, no matter what the support is. I'm always support? Right? That's how i'm understanding it.)

(No, support is whatever the medical units on scene ask for, be it just any ALS treatment unit, which you are not, or whatever load out they want. Anything that comes that wasn't first called on is considered support units in this case)
