Sup guys, I am currently drinking beer, eating life cereal with beer instead of milk, and have my iPod on full blast. Soooo what is everyone up to when they read this topic?

I just got out of th shower and am eating a cookie.

I'm in bed with my laptop watching TNG.

I am just sitting up from a deep sleep, wondering how terrible my work day will be.

Just got back from work and had some food, about to head outside for a smoke.

Listening to music on youtube, being awesome, and being more awesome by overdosing on Coldplay.

Just got done playing my drums and I just posted in the James High School Alarm topic.

I'm sitting in the station, hoping the rest of my 72 hour shift is quiet. I get off at 8 on the fourth.

I don't try and do more then 48 hours with at least 10 hours of assured sleep. Monster doesn't keep me awake long. : / plus I need to be alert.

And at the moment CHEESE STICKS!

Well my partner only works 48's. We normally work 48. But on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday we work 72's. So, I work every other fri, sat,and sun. It's actually not that bad. We are normally slow call wise. We average from dispatch till were back at the station about 3 hours on a call.

At the moment: Listening to Sixx AM. Debating weather or not I should have our little band over today...

Feeling sick. Maybe 4 cheeseburgers and 3 hotdogs for dinner, then downing an entire can of whipped cream in 1 minute for desert was too much to eat tonight at a 4th of July party. lol Fireworks, parades, pools, and more parties tomorrow.

Just woke up at 9am, mcguire you're my hero, an entire can of whipping cream? Dude... respect +1

Oh yeah, +1. My brother wasn't home, so we didn't light off the big stuff last night, but we did find "Mercenaries." They're like a stick with a silver ball on top, all attatched to this little wooden stick. We lit it and when it blew up, it was so loud that it set off this van's alarm. Our neighbor behind us had a block party thing and was like "Credit for that one goes to the Rusins!" We lit off another one.

Well I was going home at 8 this morning. But, I picked up today from the other EMT who wanted off for the fourth. So instead of a 72 hour shift i'm working a 96 hour shift and we have been slammed. Barely getting 2 to 3 hours of sleep.

Sounds like fun.

One thing that I use when I dont get sleep is an american rocker bomb. Eat some crakers then grab a pint glass and a shot glass. It will taste really bad but you'll be near instantly awake. Fill the shot glass full of 5 hour energy, and the pint glass 75% full with an energy drink of your choice, I like to use monster. Drop the shot glass and chug, don't drink it too fast though, you can collapse and go into convulsions as well as tachycardia... but thats... rare.

Haha, well the gas station is sure seeing us quite a bit, we go there after every other call to get fuel. And a healthy soft drink and gas station food. haha, its actually storming bad here. Nice to get some rain.

It sunny over here, and Raven, when we went paintballing, my one friend bought like 5 of those 5 hour energies. He comes out with them in like handfulls!

right now I amthinking how uneventful my life is XD
and getting ready for work, 5 -12 tonight yay... ssooo much for fireworks :/
BTW the american rockers remind me of another type of drink....

I'm working with the Steve he is the supervisor for our station, and he got called for us to standby at a fireworks display. I would rather sleep

5 hour energy is disgusting by itself Uhhhhhgh. I am playing swat 4 rite now. If anyone wants to send me map packs do so!

Hey Raven, I set up a patrol topic on my site for ya guys, so have fun. I just got back from this party where the neighbor is a Pyrotechnition, so he set up this huge display to music and everything! It was so cool that...let's just say I didn't think I could see that well in the dark.

I shoulda posted here last night. I'm currently watching recaps. There was a 2 hour long chase of a multiple murder suspect that ended in a 3 hour hostage situation. He killed 7 people and then himself. 2 of the 7 were kids, one his own. Sigh.

I am currently listening to Crossfade's new album. It's really good, I think I might buy it...
