What is your ideal POV setup? Or, what setup do you have now?

    Heres my ideal setup

    Front:
What is your POV setup? Pov_fr10

    Back:
What is your POV setup? Pov_ba10

For my POV I would like a Ford F-250

For the front I would like
1 LED dash light near my mirror
1 Halogen rotating dash light setting on my dash
    and 2 LED grill lights
    headlight flashers

on the top I would like
    1 LED full size lightar

On the back I would like
2 LED lights for my back window (as seen in picture)
    tail flashers

    And for the siren
    a Federal signal PA-300
or a Whelen. But I don't know for sure on the siren.

    How about you guys?

On my POV I've got a dash light, I'm debating head and tail flashers and I was recently told I've gotta have something in my rear window too, so I'm placing a TIR3 or something back there. The trunk opens there are two lights hanging down for visiblity. Just for scene safety as I'm a first responder

When I get one, I'd kill for one of those full-length interior lightbars in the front windshield, but a red/white dash light would do. I've seen SUVs with the dash light, red/white lights in the rear windows, and two in the back corners of the winshield. All I need is one in the front and one in the back.

Yeah, that is way to many lights. I understand being seen, heck my ambulance doesn't even have that many lights and they don't have a problem seeing us. There comes a point when its too much. Just use the full size roof LED Bar.

You don't need many lights, grilles, wig-wags, two rear lights and a magnetic beacon, sorted. If you want to, add fend-offs.

I'd still be fine with just a couple lights. My dad is a volunteer and he doesn't have any lights. The cheif says that they're not neccessary.

I agree with the chief, most of the time my medic and myself don't run code to calls. Mainly because we can get there faster. Another medic I work with when my normal medic is off, wants to run code everywhere and we have slower response times.

Don't get a directional bar. It's just more money wasted to be perfectly honest. I know you want to be seen, but you're saying people can't see you with only an LED dash light? or only a light bar and nothing else? And why do you need a siren?

I'm not trying to be an ass, but what you have is just way overkill.

I don't think I will get a directional bar unless I severly need it. But around here, It helps to have lights and a siren.

I plan to have a blue LED dash light, with a three light LED amber direc bar if I am allowed. Nothing to much just enough to be seen. all interior lighting. I may have one blue LED on both sides of my vehicle since it is a SUV.

My state requires your lighting be roof mounted only for POV, though I've seen some who go a little further. I'll probably stick with a Pinnacle bar from SoundOff Signal (They're 5 miles from my house and I can get a really good discount) For the beginning. After I've been there a little while, I'll sneak intersection lights onto the front. We have a lot of blind intersections surrounded by trees, so it's hard to see if the car trying to creep on the intersection has a responder light or is just a... I'll say jerk.

Yeah, then I can see having lots of lights. Here, everyone can see everyone else pretty well. The only concern would be in the neighborhoods, but cars are driving pretty slow and there aren't a lot.
