James High General Fire alarm
*Station Alarms*
*Gong, three yelps* "Pumper 11, Squad 1, Rescue 1 to James High in Phoxlind for a fire investigation. Automatic alarm, no location given. Please search entire building. Blueprints are not available at this time."
EAT
Call transfer received from PFD at 0208h after receiving an automatic alarm and having no visible flames or fire. Three alarms have been reported this week, all false, and there is only two trucks still available in service so they asked us to explore. We've got a 4 story building, with over 100 rooms to check, Rescue will establish command and get ready to enter until Squad 1 arrives to assume command.
Time:0210h
Weather: Cloudy
Concerns: This could be another false, or it could be a possible problem with electrical or furnace that has been creating small fires all week that extinguished before crews checked. If it is the latter, there is the risk that this could continue on to more. Alarm is still reporting active threats after 6 minutes (usually would stop at about 5 minutes)
Restrictions: If it becomes a fire, don't destroy the school, and don't turn it into something rediculous. I left it open for interpretation to either be a live one or a falsie. You guys pick.
