Actually, connections are the same. I play with Dutch/Germans every once in a while. For you guys with Internet problems, you need to open up your ports. Theres a topic on EMP somewhere...

You can play 911 FR and Emergency 4 together. My friend has 911 Fr and I Have EM4 and we play all the time.
