I would have to say sometimes. Because it isn't a sport when they are cheerleading a football team. and it is a sport when they go to cheerleading competitions. That's my opinion.

i have to go with yes, sure its not a contact sport, but a lot of my girl- friends are cheerleaders and they go to the competitions and stuff and its competitive, and they practice like other sports teams and to be able to throw someone up in the air, thats pretty awesome

I've only seen one team in canada that actually stands on the side lines and cheers, the rest are just dance squads, and the work that that takes, would definately consider it a sport.

Looking that slutish for a school should def. be a sport. hee hee... high school the stories I could tell you and then proceede to get arrested for.

Rooster, you're going to have some fun. : P lol high one night in the back of my friend's pick up truck, go to pick up his girl friend, manage somehow to pick up 3 cheer leaders, lol that night was... omgwtfbbq.

Hahaha, I think that my school has the slutiest cheerleading routines...a bit too sexual for younger and geriatric folk but for teenagers, it's juuuussst right

Rooster...that's what my friends call me lol. Dude, oh man...I don't know what'll happen in a few years, but I bet it's gonna be awesome or interesting! I'm gonna be in fire explorers though, so I'll see what I can do.
