MVA involving ERT personnel

*Station Alarm*
"Squad 1 please respond to Trulit interpass East for a motor vehicle accident involing HRES Beard. Rescue 1 also dispatched. Units at station please remain on standby. RA-1 Respond along with SV Medical."
"Rescue 1 to for a motor vehicle accident involving Beard"

*Police Radio*
"We've got an MVA invloving possible drunks and an ERT firefighter. Injuries are unclear. Medical and Fire enroute, please reposnd nearest traffic or patrol units to investigate."

*EMS Dispatch*
"We've got an MVA possible DUI at Trulit Interpass East Please send nearest medical resources to assist. RA and SV will be on scene."

EAT
Little is know at this time, except HRES Beard has reported a car accident involving a possible DUI en route to his house. Requesting rescue teams assist, police secure the scene. We'll need an Accident Investigator out here as well. Depending on state of scene, addtional resources may respond

Weather: Overcast and misty
Concerns: Beard was well enough to report a mayday and his location, however nothing more. We are unsure of the scene at this time.
Restrictions, this is not an MCI and beard is only gooing to be injured enough to take a week off of work for some LOA time IRL. So he'll decide his injuried accordingly please

* i walk out to the radio room of the station*
" Copa, station 1's got that, pumper 11 on standby"

*I hear the radio transmission*

"PC-8 enroute to assist"

"RA1 copies, hold us en route COPA."

*I hear the call and hear beard is involved. i run out and hop in my truck*

"DCF1 responding"

"Sup2 enroute, If the traffic units are able to clear have them respond code 3."

"Police OIC enroute in POV code 3."

"SEV going code 3"

*I run down to the bay, put on my turnouts, start up the squad, and put on my headset. Once I see that everyone's in, I turn on the lights and pull out of the station. I turn on the wail and rev up the Q.*

"Squad 1 responding to MVA, Code 3."

"CE-1 and TU-1 are responding to incident from South East Phoxlind." I say into the radio as I'm driving fast down the road, the sound of the wail can be heard in the background.

"Responding Code 3 to incident from Third AVE patrol to Trulit East" I say while slamming my upper switch for my siren and then hit my light bar switch. I speed up and arrive at the scene and park on the side of the road assisting Libor and Squad and Rescues.

"Divert traffic to one lane, closing back 500 metres, do not close full road, traffic is light at night anywho. Advise with scene command for orders"

(Unless someone is dead, or it's a huge hazard, IE hazmat or bomb, we don't close the full road. Reduce lanes yes, but not close. Set up a buffer zone of half a kilometre then direct traffic through in the way a construction crew would. One direction, stop the other direction. Stop. )

"TU-1 COPA, traffic is now down to one lane and being slowed through the scene"

"COPA, not sure if you copied 1155's traffic, requesting ETA for the tow trucks"

I radio in another call out "Can I get a medic to check out these second 2 MVA victims just in case at Fort Basio and Trulit Interpass East. We still need those two tows as well so we can clear the lanes. I've set up traffic cones so east is ready to roll slowly behind the major accident. How are you doing up there Lietenant Libor? Any news on those victims. Hurry up please on those tows HQ!

Thank you both. I missed you Lidner. I just got the 1 transported for Xrays and further inspection by a doctor at the hospital now im just waiting for tows then I will be out of this scenes hair... 1 less policeman on the scene guys!!

*I get up angry about what I just heard and run like hell to my gear which is sitting there ready for me on the bay floor next to my seat. I put it all on except my helmet and I jump into the truck. I then get my headset on as well as my seatbelt, look at my mapbook and call it in that we're on our way.*

1- We don't use this for radio chatter. This forum is solely for on scene, leaving scene, or en route to a location, nothing else. OICs can also request units here.
2- POLICE NEVER TRANSPORT ANYONE INJURED. PERIOD.
3- Probationary officers call no shots
4- Calm down, take it slow.
