"Attention all units, we've got a domestic standoff in progress, TAC is
being dispatched to scene now. Officers on scene, little more
information is known, believed to be stemmed from a domestic dispute. On
esuspect barricaded inside with a knife."

Little information known by COPA at this time, except that a male after a domestic dispute has barricaded himself inside his house with a knife, and no hostages. Police are on scene securing perimeter, Requesting a medic unit, TAC and available police to respond.

Weather: Warm, sunny
Concerns: COPA knows little at this time, man may be volatile. On scene officers are aware of scene, so meet with either Libor or Lafferty before setting up. Residential Area

*I flip on the emergency lights an giv a little burst of wail at intersections

(you said all bands so even though you won't need me i'm saying something)

"I pick up my portable in my car on the drive home"

"Cressler heading back to station we'll be available if you upgrade us to stand-by or response."

"RRT responding Code 2."

**I watch as my team gets into the RRT Truck and collects their gear. I get into the driver's seat and turn on the lights. One car almost cuts us off as we leave; I give a loud burst of the siren and stare at the driver with my full TAC gear. He won't be cutting people off any time soon.**

"SEV here if you need me"

"SEV Respond code 2, and standby at scene for medical. If rescue is needed, TAC will advise"

"10-4, responding code 2"
*I jump in the SEV and drive to the scene and park in the driveway next to the building*
(Wouldn't the RA respond too?)

(RA only has one person who is unavailable at this time, as he is acting OSC at another fire)

" Pump-11 to COPA, We are available to respond if needed with 2 Medics now ( WOOHOO ). "

*I get my gear ready just in case setting it next to the step on my side of the rig. I then go into the break room and sit back in my recliner starting to watch the news.*
'You guys ready if this turns into all hell?'

"Yes Hannahan."

I pull my bunker pants up and put the key in the truck, however I don't start it.

'Good.'
*I turn paying close attention to what the peopl may say on the news.*

(when did the radio channel include talking and actions? I gotta get me one of those radios)

I run to my car, spilling my coffee, and get on the radio. "PC-5 responding code 3"
