Re: ERT Mod possibility
The reason I asked is because Meguire, I don't think I spelt that right, said something about modeling it so i was just checking if it would be ok

Re: ERT Mod possibility
You can do BLS if you want. It'd be easier having somebody with zmod do it rather than having to convert it from sketchup to zmod.

Re: ERT Mod possibility
Heres my problem, I have the skin almost done, so I was going to do a quick uv map to make sure it is scaled, but it was way to small, I got it to 1/4 size, but the image was already 400 MB.

Re: ERT Mod possibility
Actually Bridwell, I appreciate the offer, but I would like to have all the mod stuff here, since I have a bunch ready now and I want to be able to compile it all, you know the technical side of the mod too, not just the units.
I have plenty of storage room over my three computers (well over 5 tb) of space to house everything, so space is of 0 issue to me
I've also got plenty programs to make whatever needed. Including smaller sized skins

So how do you make smaller sized skins, because I can't work with a 1 gb skin.

Re: ERT Mod possibility
Either save it as a different file type (my best geuss is he's using a bmp. )I use PNG for most of mine, however dds also works. or adjust the skin size itself. a 80000000000000000000x80000000000000000000000 is not needed

I use a dds. My size is 2000x2000, or else I can't fit all views.

Sorry guys! I just got an Email from Pierce, and they didn't send me pics. Just sayin. I guess you'll just have to model off of other pictures.

Re: ERT Mod possibility
That sounds good I will continue to work on the model, I do NOT know how to UV map. I would like to learn but the tutorials on the zmod site are of no help. When it comes time if someone would be willing to help that would be much appreciated just pm me so I know, but if no one does want to help me could someone map for me?

I can make Sketchup Buildings, I just need someone to convert them & I need some Specs of the complex's buildings.
Edit: A quick preview of what it might look like.

Re: ERT Mod possibility
Buildings for the complex I'll handle in zmod, becuase I have blueprints on my computer of them, all LARGE files... I'll see what I can do with them, but I'm picky aobut my structures.. Think FD Station 1 will be somewhat like the LA mod station, however, it will have bays and just be one rectangle, not two intersecting ones. It will only be one story as well.
The Police station will be a lot like the RNC station in St. John's, however it will be slightly modified. The hospital will be a little smaller than the LA mod hospital,. but same kinda idea. The main building will be a surprise though!

Re: ERT Mod possibility
We are.... Show me where it said we aren't?
I am making the buildings similar to real life ones, but that doesn't mean that we aren't all on a complex... They'll all be layed out as in the complex. For a freeplay map however it'll be slightly reduced more than likely to allow for the city

It would be kind of weird if people typed in ERT and this came up so they just signed up. Uhh....how are those skins going?
