"L1 on standby. If you need us just call."

"Ladder one on scene. Hannahan get out the K-tool and related supplies. Davis you and Libor get medical supplies. Anders scout along the perimeter see if you can see anything." I say before the truck stops moving. I jump out after putting the truck in park. I'm pnly in my bunker pants and they swish as I check the front door. Locked. I look over the fence. No dogs. I jump over the fence. I try the back door. No Luck. I try and look into the windows but they're frosted. "We're taking down the front door"

*I go to the truck and get the spinal bag and backboard.*

"Alright Ewan, I'm all set!"

Entry crew be advised, ALS-1 is currently delayed. Requesting you guys hold the scene with Officer Libor (former comrade I do believe) until transport can arrive.

I pull up my leather chair to the COPA control desk, put my mobile in the charger, and pop on a headset. Logging on, I bring up two windows, one for this call and one for the BLS-1 call. Both images are rather useless in this situation though. Oh well. I lean back and take a sip of coffee

Take a my helmet from the rig and break open the window next to the door, then I clear out the glass and unlock the door. I open the door and take a few steps in. "Guys split up and look for her. DC be advised we've made entry to location."

Copy that Ladder one, be advised, Joe is back on this call with you to assist. New uniform, same guy, just with a gun now.

"I'll look in the bedroom."

*I go into the bedroom and find her laying on the floor. I go up and ask her what hurts.*

She replies, "My back! I tripped and fell. My Life Alert was on my dresser, but and I managed to reach it."

*I begin to use the spinal kit to stabilize her and request Ewan to help me move her onto the backboard.*

Copy that Davis, I'll inform life alert that we've got their client in our care now.

I pick up the phone and call their emergency line. "Hi, this is Commissioner Burke from the ERT, I'm calling to inform you that we do have your client at 45 first avenue in our care right now."

"10-4 Burke" I head upsstairs. "I'll lift you slide"

((Oh, Okay! You got the call.))

"Alright, she's stabilized enough to be moved. I help her onto the backboard with Ewan."

guys we can't transport without an ambulance. please attempt to treat on scene until transport arrives

((I meant like move her out of the building.))

"DCBurke, I stabilized her with the spinal kit. We have a spinal injury. She should be okay until ALS-1 arrives. Anyway, where is he?"

"Yeah we know" I say and start an I.V. TKO for MS.
((Just get her on the back board for now))

"Got it. We're awaiting service from ALS-1."

"Davis go get the oxygen, we'll start four litres"

*I get up to the patient* hi, I'm officer Libor with ert, can you tell me where most of your pain is? "my back really hurts!" ok, is it lower pain, higher, is your hip hurt? "it's my whole back, I lost my balance and landed on my back" do you know how you lost your balance? Do you remember what you were doing? " no I just remember being on my back"*I get up* guys can you get a bp, and an o2 sat?

I take out the BP cuff, "I've got 80 over 55, let's start normal Saline to our MS drip." I say and take out an I.V saline bag.

Ya, I'm guessing she passed out from low bp. I'm taking off to assist pc 2, she will be ok. Dc I'm clearing responding code 3 to pc 2 location.0

"Alright be safe."

"Do you need me to apply oxygen?"

"Yes six litres"

*I walk around the corner after checking the perimeter and finding nothing and see the action so I run up to Ewan and ask egarly "what do you need me to do know?"*

"We got this, what's the ETA of our ambulance DCBurke? Can we transport with BLS?"

Copy that Raven, please request BLS support from the alarm centre, and they will respond accordingly. Have a paramedic return to complex hospital with our ambulance.

"Raven, do you want me or you to go with the patient?"

"I will. Ma'am we're going to take you to the hospital, the ride is free of charge." I say and I get a nod.

"BLS-1 on scene."

*I say as I pull up to the curb in front of the fire truck. I put the jump bag, backboard, and clipboard on the stretcher, and walk it up to the front door. I leave the stretcher and backboard next to the door, and take the jump bag inside*

"Alright, are we all ready for transport here, or do you need any further treatment?"

"I think she's alright. We've got her stabilized."

*I help put the patient on the stretcher and get in the truck.*

"Hey Ewan, when we get back to HQ I need to restock the ladder. Are we currently unavailable?"

"Yes, make us unavaialable." I help bring the stretcher downstairs and into the amulance and then I get in.

*I close the doors and return everything to it's proper cabinet, I get into the ambulance cab.*

* I drop the clipboard in the back*

"It's not important right now, treatment comes first, but if you get a chance can you start filling out the call sheet, Raven?"

"BLS-1 en route to ERT hospital, ALS onboard." I say over the radio.

((Sorry for posting so late. Couldn't tell if this was the right emergency))

"Dispatch, this is 9081, am I still needed at the scene?"

"Negative"

"L1 is currently unavailable. We need some time to get back to HQ and restock."

"BLS-1 arriving at base."

"I pull up to the emergency room, get out, roll the stretcher into the hospital, and transfer the patient to the hospital."

"BLS-1 to COPA, patient in hospital care, BLS-1 is in service."

*I drop Raven back at the fire station*

"Thanks for the ride" I say. I walk into the station. Ladder one unavailable for restocking."

"Roger that. 9081 returning to routine patrol."

"L1 at base!"

*I park the rig in the garage and begin restocking it.*
