Possible False Alarm

*Station 1 Alarm*
"Squad 1 to 14 Orange Street for a possible false alarm fire call. TVFD unavailable at this time"

EAT
Reports came in from ADT of an automatic home alarm on 14 orange street. Reported of 17 in the past month, usually the homeowner calls in the flase alarm, but the family attends church every week, as the father is Church Deacon. TVFD unavailable to take call, s-1 please check it out. ERT Contacting the church to attempt to alert family. Note, this is probably another false alarm, as no reports of smoke or fire in the area. ADT scheduled a technician for tomorrow afternoon to check the system

Weather: Foggy and cool
Concerns: Evening fog will lower visibility
Restrictions: Please do not leave station until Capt Raven gives the order to leave. Special orders will be in effect.

"PC-1 to HOPA do you want me to head in and check out the scene"

*Heads in that direction code 1 awaiting orders*

"Negative, patrols are needed in Phoxlind still, PPD is still tied up, S-1 will check it out, plus I've dispatched a TSD unit to the scene when available

"PC-1 10-4 I copy that"

Squad one leaving" I say as I pull into the parking lot from home. I throw on my gear and get into the drivers seat, seeing we are all in I hit the lights and sirens. "Damn hard to see in this fog." I remark.

(Well you can post you're in there, but don't get more than halfway to the scene in your posts, if anywhere.. Remember, we do time warps, so you can post yourself arriving and getting in if he isn't at the scene)

Road, we've got a unit involved in a hit. No more information to be
broadcasted over radios. All patient information to be broadcasted over
EAT only"

"EMS-1 to Central, we can take that."

*I shut off the TV standing right back up, fast walk out to the ambulance, get in the drivers seat as Jaime gets in. I start it up, press the Master button, pull out, then hit the garage door button. I pull onto the road driving quickly to Trulit & Peach*

"PC-1 enroute code 3 to the accident"

"Copy, please only broadcast scene information through your EAT terminal, no radio traffic"

PC-1 on scene, we have one child hit he's bleeding from a head injury and may have a broken arm and leg, request units immediately to block the road off

( he just said no radio traffic)

I said only EAT communications. EAT is the ERT's version of the MDT, or the little computer in police cars for those who don't know. Basically, you do your standard radio chatter, but patient info, including age, goes through the EAT as something like:*I type into my EAT* Pateint is okay, but bleeding, angry bystander. possibly dad

This would all go in the Operations area, not in here.. This is just to keep the official stuff, like this unit is needed, is leaving, coming or going.

(We got Tac channels for this so anybody involved goes to Tac-1 and only people involved hear.)

(There is always some kind of interceptor that can get through tac channels, so keep patient info in the EAT, everything else on the air)

*I hear over the radio the accident and I grab my cell phone and call into COPA*

'Hey it's DCF1 can you please show me enroute to the accident code 3 from my residence?'

*I throw on my clothes quick and run outside an jump in my truck. I then notice how bad the fog really is. I then start up my truck and flip on the lights and roll down my driveway. Then once I get to the street I flip on the yelp and then get out into traffic and start my way to the scene*
