* I run out of the bunk rooms after stumbling out of bed, and I run down to the bays and start throwing my bunkers on, then my nomex, then my jacket and bring my helmet with me in the truk and sit down and start putting my arms through the scba straps and put my seatbelt on*

*I get out of bed slowly and go into the bay and fire up the ladder. I go around to the other side and put on my nomex, jacket and pants then grab the grab bar and jump in. I then close my door and turn the EAT to me and grab the mic.*
"Ladder 1 en route. ETA 4-5 minutes."

* I walk out to the Engine, step into my turnout pants and grab my coat from my seat and put it on. I climb aboard and see that Jack has already beaten me to the engine. I put my headset on as he starts it and closes his door, Tim, Moon and casey are stepping aboard and getting themselves ready, I turn the lights on and pull on the horn twice as jack pulls us out of the station, the sirens start as we pull into traffic. *

" COPA, Pump-11 En Route. "

' Ok guys so far so good, Dumpster fire spreading down the alley, we have done this before. No big deal just ike the training, Moon take a 2" line with the Probie, Tim get 1 1/2" line and start sweeping through the allwy getting the debris, Jack grab a Halligan and assist Tim on his line. "

" Pump-11 to ladder 1 ETA 6 Minutes out. "

* i start to fasten down the straps as we fly through town late at night and i see moon has rolled down his window and we get some fresh air in the truck*

( gonna be inactive today guys, sorry, having some friends over for my birthday party)

*i come out into the bay and gear up climb into the drivers seat and put on my seat belt. and put in in drive while fliping on the emergency lights as i see the last person get in. i pull out of the bay as Hannahan flips on the siren. as were flying through the town im easyly weving through the light traffic*

*I hear the tones drop and walk out to the truck steeping into my pants and grabbing my jacket and throwing it over my shoulder. after I get in I put my headset on.*

"Cressler copies flown."

*As I place my headset on after a while of driving and abusing the horn, I talk to my crew.*
'Depending on how big this fire is and what P-11 is doing, Jack get out the supply line and hook to the hydrant. The alley most likely runs straight through to the other street. Uh, Bruce, Jess, since you love being together so much, Bruce grab a deuce and a half of off the side and start attacking. Jess, you're with him. Mike, grab a trash line and attack too. Chris, grab a pike and start moving things around in the bins if you can.'
"Ladder 1 to Pumper 11, how about you take one side of the alley, we take the other. Copy?"
*I change the siren mode to phaser.*

*i come up to a red light and slow down and look both ways and continue on looking at all the street signs to make sure i dont miss the turn*
'Copy Hannahan'

" PUmp-11 Copies Ladder 1 We'll take the North side. "

' Jack park on the street and dont enter the alley, We'll drag hoses from the street through the alley. Moon I'll have u stick with the plan and get the 2" with the probie, attack the dumpster, Tim again same plan as before grab the 1 1/2" and sweep through the alley, the Truck is gonna take the south side and work their way in with us. '

* I watch as the traffic sort of pulls over and I wave to the people waving to me as we fly past them. *

'I copy. Stick with Moon on the 2" to attack the fire.'

'Got it' I said as I put my pack on.

'Alright.'
*I look up and switch the PA 300 to horn then wail, then yelp, then back to phaser. I then put it on wail and look out the front window. I look in the sky and I see light smoke.*
'And that's where we're headed. We got smoke.'

*I drive through traffic leading L-1. Some cars pullover with the sirens others it takes a few blasts of the airhorn.

"Lt. Who is laying the supply?"

*as were moving through the town i come to a stop sign i slow down, look both ways then i mash the gas pedal to catch back up to the pumper. as were getting closer, i make a left turn to get us on the other side of the alley*
'Hey lou ima stop and have someone tag the hydrant and well continue in'

*The truck stops next to the hydrant and I jump off and grab the 4" and the hydrant bag, I wrap the hydrant once then wave at Bruce to drive down. I undo the cap and flush the hydrant, turn it off and then hook up the HEMAT valve and then the 4".*
"Let me know when you are ready for water Bruce"

((we gotta wait for McEvoy to post before we can do anything..... its been 6 hours so well see))

(Not to stop you guys, you're allowed to take out basics, but he's gonna determine whether or not it is a big fire, small one or medium)

*as Jack tags the hydrant i look in my mirror and see that hes telling me to go so i drive forward till i reach the start of the ally way. i park on an angle and put the truck in park and engage the parking brake. i hop out and put an SCBA on and i look up and see a 14' plastic covered Chain link fence*
'Guys just to let ya know weve got a large fence and we cant see in the ally way'

' Jack Pull up over here around the corner. '

* The Engine rounds the corner and the Siren gets turned off, I look down the alley as we come to a stop and see a fair amount of Smoke covering the alley. *

" COPA, Pump-11 on scene. "

* I open the door, take my headset off and step out. I leave my SCBA in the truck and watch as my crew starts to execute the instructions. *

" Pump-11 to Ladder 1 do me a favor and let me know when you start attacking, we can start our efforts together. "

"Ladder 1 to COPA, were on scene."
*I jump out with my B.A on and I look down the alley seeing P-11 crew starting there attack.*
"L-1 copies P-11."
*I get a bear claw (that's what I call it) from the middle compartment and don me mask after starting air flow.*
'Alright guys, lets get this fire knocked out.'
"Ladder 1 to Pumper 11, we're starting our attack."
'Bruce, you got that hooked up yet? I'll flow water to it. Grab a line, got it.'
*I go over to the pump panel and finish hooking up the line. I wave my hand in Jack's direction signaling that he could flow water and I get my hand on the tank to pump valve.*

*I send water to the ladder and then walk up to the Lt.*
'Where you want me Lt.?'

((did any one acknowlege the fact that i said there was a fence blocking the ally way and the view of what was going on and Burke said the basics and im pretty sure that doesnt mean starting an attack, i mean cause how are we going to start and attack if we dont know what it is?))

(( Nobody said we are attacking the fire yet, I figure a Hose and a Halligan are Pretty basic But maybe im unclear. ))

* I walk over to the back of the truck and watch as the Traffic quickly comes to a crawl watching our movements. *

* My phone beeps and i look at the Txt that Illyanna sent me. *

' HOLY CRAP, WOOHOOOO. Im not missing this date tonight dammit LOLOL. '

* I send Hannahan a Txt. *

*** OH GOOD GOD you should see the Picture Illy sent me on what she is gonna be wearing tonight WOOHOOO, I will explain the G rated version for u later LOLOLOL. ***

"meh lt. hush it i got jamie she's hotter anyway.'

*i walk over to the ladder and pull off the duce and strech it out and wait for jess to get with me*
'alright lets not charge these lines until we know we have something big. sound good?'

(Nobody can start attacking until someone pulls a line...nobody did that yet)
*I feel my phone vibrating and I dismiss it until I could see it. I look over and see DCF1 coming from a block away.*

' Floan, want me to grab a supply line to the hydrant?'
* i notice the hydrant is right in front of our truck so i just grab a 50' length of 4" hose and connect to the hydrant and to the pump then jeack gives me the ok and i charge the hose*
* i grab a 1 1/2" line off of the top of the pump panel and begin to flake it out but not charged and begin to fasten my scba straps*

' Sure, go ahead. '

* I sit n the bumper of the truck and watch as the smoke increases. *

" Pump-11 to Ladder 1 My men are in place and ready for forcible entry on the gate and supression, whenever the chief arrives. "

"Ladder 1 to P-11 I copy. Get that gate open quick so we could end in the middle."
*I laugh a little since they have to take care of the gate and we don't.*

"SEV to OSC, I am on stand by. BREAK How's it looking out there?"

" Pump-1 Copies we are gaining access right now. "

' Sine nobody raised their hand I'll take care of it. I have a date to get to and dammit i WILL NOT MISS IT. '

* I take my axe and start smashing at the gate all the while talking to myself. *

' This is for the DATE., This is for ME, this is for Hannahan making me miss my LAST DATE. AHHHHH '

* The gate broke open and we were able to have a clear view of the fire. *

(Okay, feel free to have OSC hannahan choose size of fire. DFC is delayed in response)

"OSC Hannahan, operation update please"

*I finish pulling the deuce off back off the truck and stretch it out then head up to floan breaking through the fence.*
'Ready boss'

*I look down the alleyway while seeing Lt Floan hacking the wood away with his axe. I look around the alleyway seeing bits of trash on fire and the dumpster on fire too.*
'We don't need three trucks for this.'
"Ladder 1 command to COPA, fire scene looks controllable and it probably will hold. Uhhh, we have the one dumpster fire here causing most of the problem and small bits of trash up and down the alleyway. I will uhh advise if I need any more manpower K."
*I grab my bear claw tool and move up into the alleyway, moving garbage around to have it a bit spread out to get the trash easier to extinguish.*
'Let's get this attack started guys!'
*I yell waving my arms pointing to the big burning bin. I head back to the pump and start controlling it but set it to automatic control so the governor could control the pressure and everything else itself.*
"Ladder 1 to Pumper 11, begin attack from your side in when you're ready copy? We're beginning ours."

*i pull the lever out to charge my line till the pressure reads 135 and i grab the nozzle and open it up with a 30 degree fog*

" Pump-11 copies Starting attack now. "

* I look back at Van der Water who is manning the pumps and I give the signal to charge the Lines. My line opens and I start moving with Tim and Jack, through the Alley putting out spot fires as we go. *

" Pump-11 Command to Pump-11 Cressler, status report please. "

I follow Tim with his line me holding my halligen. I hold the hose taking the pressure from Tim so he can freely move the nozzel. I watch as trash burns and swirls through the alley and can feel the slight breeze on my neck.

*I give casey the sign and feel the surge*
'alright probie lets move up'
*I drag my line up to the dubpster.*
'Hmm lt. how do you figure this started aye?'
*I take a knee and start the hose at half fog and begin to soak down the area.*

*I watch as my crew starts soking down the fire and I move into the alleyway moving trash that didn't burn yet over to the sidewalk so the flares from the garbage fire wouldn't spark it. I pick up trash bag after trash bag and move them over so they wouldn't flare up. I put my bear claw back on the bumper of th truck noticing I could move much faster if I had two hands so I get back to moving one big pile of trash.*
'Good thing I have on my B.A.'

*i move in farther with Jess right behind me moving my line from side to side wetting down all the trash*

'Okay Tim lets get this done'

I watch as the flames die down below the lip then vanish. I then tap Tim on the back and walk over to the dumpster and start rummeging through with my halligen. I pull up some trash that flames up but I cust smother it in the pond of water in the dumpster. I sift through intil I am sure everything is out.

'Do you guys want to check this with the TIC?'

'you can get it if you want but there is no way there is still fire in there'

' No need for TIC in an outdoor fire, however lets Keep Tim and Jack on their Line, Moon go ahead and pull yours off and have Grab a Pike with the Probie and show him proper Overhaul. '

" Pump-11 to Ladder 1 OSC, fire on our area is out, Beginning Overhaul. "

* I walk back to the truck, open my door, take my turnout coat off and hang it on the window opener. I walk over to the side compartment of the truck and pull out a Pike for myself and walk back to the Rubble heap. *

' Jack, be at the ready im gonna start sifting through this pile, Moon and the Probie are gonna sift through another pile, just be ready in case we need a little water. '

'Thats what I thought too Moon'

* I put my halligen down by the truck and go back behind Tim to be ready for any flare ups.

*I lay my line down and head back and grab the pike pole to start overhauling*
'well probie i mean it's garbage there ain't much to overhauling a garbage pile i'll show you more when were in a building.'
