NY mods EMERGENCY 4

ok, so i need some help. I havent been on the emergency fourms in a while. There was the NY mod coming out, and one of the main creators was Tim and FFW Tut..where you could use the k12 to vent roofs and there was all of those new icons and all that stuff. and you were going to be able to use fdny scanners in the background and stuff. So i went on the fourms the other day and saw the NY mod out and i was playing it..and it seems kinda basic...like its a new map and new units but still has all of the la mod freeplay calls..and the creators are like francis and mikeypi...is this the same mod or...???

its a different mod as far as i know that other new york mod wolnt be out for a while..

Yeah it's actually pretty cool. It's basically like the LA mod, pretty much same sirens and map and stuff, just new units. There are some cool new scripts though...

I do like that mod haha. I changed some stuff like the lights on BC 45 to make it look like it does in videos. More polygons and less small circle lights haha. I had a huge fire where the buildings form a rectangle like in harlem. Whoooo...takes me back haha. I hope they add a bunch more things in V2. (Be careful what you say, Newfoundking is watching lol )

haha yea ik john, i kept it nice..haha...but yea i like it the only thing is i think the fires spread a little fast, police dont have chase command, some arrow sticks dont work, and trucks have problems re-staffing

the patch should be coming out this week though that fixes most bugs

I had to download it 3 or 4 times to finally get it to work. And I also use WinRAR

IN response to the NY Mod mix ups, the FFW tut mod is still in progress and will be for some time more than likely, mine and mikey's is out... And to address the so-called bugs
Fires spread too fast
Nothing was changed that way, they spread the same as all other mods...
Police are missing Chase Command
For the 1 millionth time, THIS IS NOT A SUBMOD. We purposely left out the chase command as we are not making them all felony stops as featured in the LA Mod. We will be including one eventually, but it'll be totally different than the LA mod, since we are not the Los Angeles mod, but instead the New York Mod
Arrow Sticks don't work
Arrow sticks are on the following units. The Ladders, rescue, REP, Traffic RMPs, the Patrol SUV, and the big tow. The other units may have places for them, but are not given them since we don't want every unit to do everything... This is a strategy game, so you need to use strategy to use certain units.

I wasn't calling this a bug and I don't think the other person was either we were just telling him that it didn't exist in game

Ohh, and in regards to the package corruptions, when everyone downloads the same file, it's bound to screw up somewhere along the line. Follow safe download practices and it will work

i didnt think it was a bug, the only thing that aggrivates me is like for the arsonist fire, i have to send a car to the scene, chase the guy down, then begin a foot chase, meanwhile trying to set up my fire units and stuff. before i could just send a cop on chase mode and they would take care of him..and for the ladder, it still didnt work..but i do appreciate all that you guys did burke, and its really nice, la mod was getting pretty boring
