Yup Hoboken, NJ I've been to Carlo's Bakery before. Best pastries and cakes and cannolis I've ever had. Met Buddy once, he's really nice and cool. You should go check it out one day. If you can try to go on a weekday, won't be as busy as a weekend or over a holiday.

*After a short drive I pull up and park outside the Hoboken Pizza. I exit my Tahoe, lock it, and walk inside. I look around; nice place, looks like it's been refurbished recently. I walk to the counter and speak to the clerk:*

    Me: 'Hi.'

Clerk: 'Oh hello and welcome, what can I get you?'

Me: 'I'll have a medium pizza please, with pepperoni, ham and mushrooms. A little spice, but don't go all out. Aaaand, a big coke to drink please.'

Clerk: 'Aaaallrighty, that'll be $6.50 please.'

*I get my wallet out and pay the man with a $10 bill. I recieve my change, leave all the small coins on the counter for tip and walk over to a table to wait for my food.*

*After calling in an order, Kelly and I get into my new Charger, turn on my radio and set it to Transmit of ERT channels, and Receive Phoxlind Channels, and we drive to the pizza place. I drive past it realizing we're about 10 minutes earlier than they said it would be. *

'Wanna just drive around for a bit? Get a feel for the new car?'

*She agrees, so I get on the highway. There's no traffic visible.*

'Let's see what this car can do'

*I hit the gas peddle and start going faster, I hit the speed limit of 75mph. Still no traffic, so I go up to 95 for a little bit. I look in the mirror and see headlights behind me that are speeding up. I slow down to 80. The headlights are now following behind me*

    On the radio:

"128, I'll be on a traffic stop, just past exit 13 on the highway. Phoxlind plate NSB-73D. Should come back to a black or blue dodge charger."

*Kelly and I look at each other*

*As I continue driving, I notice Red and Blue starting to flash inside the car, and on the trees and buildings around us.*

    'S**t.'

"128, comes back valid to a Doug McGuire, 1000 Keller Street, Phoxlind."

*I slow down and pull over into the shoulder. I roll down the windows, turn on all the lights inside the car, put the parking brake on, get my licnese and ERT ID out of my wallet and put my hands on the steering wheel. I spotlight shines through the back window, and an officer gets up, and begins walking to the passenger side window*

'Kelly get the registration and insurance out of the glove compartment'

*She gets it and hands it to me.*

'Evening sir, can I see license, registration, and proof of insurance?'

    'Yup.*

*I hand him everything including the ERT ID. He looks at it with a flashlight.*

'You know why I puled you over tonight?'

    'Yeah, 95 in a 75.'

    'Precisely.'

*He looks at the ERT ID*

    *He hands me everything*

'Well, I'll leave you with a warning tonight. Go the speed limit, it's for everybody's safety. And Being a member of ERT is no excuse, but I support fellow officers so I'm not citing you tonight.'

    'I understand, thank you.'

'You're welcome. Buckle up, drive safe, and stay safe out there.'

'Thank you officer, you be safe too.'

    'Thanks.'

*He walks back to his car*

'128 I'll be 10-98 from the stop. Verbal Warning.'

*I turn off the lights, roll up the windows, and drive away. Kelly starts laughing.*

Kelly: 'That's going on facebook.' *She pulls out her phone and goes on facebook*

    Me: 'Yay.'

*We drive to the Hoboken Pizza, pick up our food, and drive home*

*I pull up outside and walk in, clipping my pager to my belt as I walk in. The cashier, an attractive blonde who can't be older than I am, looks up.*

    "Hi, can I help you?"

"Yeah, I'd like a medium mushroom and pepperoni pizza and a Coke."

    "Okay. That'll be 7.30, please."

*I give her a 10 and get my change back. I drop a few bucks in a jar labeled 'College Money' next to the register and turn to walk off.*

    "Thanks!"

*I turn back to her and smile.*

"It's no problem. What are you going to college for?"

    "Pre-med."

"Really? That's interesting. I'm an EMT."

"You're an EMT? That's so cool! I'd like to be a doctor. Who do you work for? ERT?"

    "Yeah, ERT."

"Oh, that's way cool. Only a few thousand more bucks, then I'm off for college."

"Keep working for it, you'll get there."

*We chat for a while, stopping when she gets a customer. We exchange phone numbers and names, then I leave when I get my pizza.*

I walk over to his car and slap a note on his windshield simply saying [ Raincheck on Training Pump-11 ] I calmly walk back to the engine get in and close my door. I put my headset back on and hear the rest of the crew chuckling to themselves. *

' What? we're not gonna do that to him after this last call, All i wanna do is go resupply, and go bac to the house. Casey lets head to ETC now please. '
