Boat Fire

Station Alarm:
*Gong followed by three siren yelps*
"Pumper one-one, Ladder one, Squad one, Support two, Rescue Ambualnce one, respond to Dock 4A of the Phoxlind ports to assist PFD and PPA with a boat fire. Several units involved, boat is beleived completly invovled from the cargo hold outwards to the top deck. Cause unknown."

EAT:
A 911 call came in at 1214h requesting PPA check out a possible engine alarm on Lubechov Styani, a Russian Cargo Vessel docked in 4A. PPA requested PFD when smoke was seen in the cargo area. PPA Fire Teamsn along with PFD station teams are currently battling a fully invovled blaze under PPA Chief Richards Command. The Fire has errupted through several points on the deck as well as having lit an entry way on fire. The boat is evacuated, however there is high risk of explosions and more fire. This boat was designed to stay afloat for 4 hours after three large holes were ruptured in the body, so we won't have to worry about it sinking, either way, it's only about 5 meters deep at the deepest point of that dock

Concerns: Heavy smoke, fighting fir eon water, explosions

(no killing people please, don't overly injure yourself or others either, I don't mind small ones, but not a crippling or dibiltating one. Also, McEvoy will be establishing command remotely to respond shortly into the call... )

*i hear the call and run to the ladder, fire it up. turn on the emergency lights. and wait for the rest of my crew*

"Rescue 1 Received. Phoxlind Port, area of Dock 4-Alpha."

*I stand up, pause Emergency! on Hulu, then walk out to RA-1. I pull up the pants, and throw my jacket on, then step into the drivers seat, flipping the battery switch on the way in. I start it as Cory and Dean jump in, I press the Master button, hit the siren a few times on the way into the road, and respond to the port*

*I hear the tones drop and from the bay I get in my bunkerpants and grab my jacket and helmet. I put my helmet by the dash and jacket behind me. I turn on the lights and wait for everone else to get in.*
'SEV-2 responding code three to boat fire' I say as I honk my horn and play with the siren until I get an opening in traffic. I turn left and take off toward the docks.

I jump into my gear and climb into the officer's seat. I open up the squad's computer and look at the map. "Ladder one when we get there set up your ladder to cover the deck of the ship. Pumper 11 start hard suction hoses. SEV 2 start search and rescue, squad 1 will ull lines into the ship." I say and then settle in for the ride to the port.

*I clap my hands in joy that we got a call.*
'Yeaaah! That's what i'm talking about.'
*I put my gear on strap it up, put my jacket and nomex on, jump into the truck as Bruce starts it up and I put my seatbelt on.*
'Everyone ready?'
"Ladder 1 Copies Squad 1. COPA, we're in route. ETA 6 minutes."

* I run to the truck and jump in just as its pulling out. quickly I sit down and put my headset on and throw my turnout coat and nomex. *
' Sorry LT that I was almost Late '

"Good lord... Fiiiiiiinally"
*jumping into my boots, sliding my hood on and pulling it back onto my neck, I grab my coat, boots and helmet and head for the truck, grab a seat and strap up my SCBA*

(boat fire, now we're in my department)

*I throw on my gear on and jump on the truck*
'Well i guess it is my turn up the stick, this ought to be fun.'

* I throw down my lunch that was gross anyway and run out to the bays seeing jack get in the drivers seat so i jump in the passenger seat with just my bunkers on*
' Ill put the rest of my gear on when we get there, too cramped in here for all of it'

*I quickly throw on my pants, grab my jacket, and jump into the driver's seat. Then I start the squad while Raven is on the computer, turn on the lights, and pull out of the station with the yelp on. Then blast the airhorns as I pull onto the highway.*
'Alright, Raven. I'll pull some lines right when we get there.'

* Hearing the radio traffic of a firefighter injured, I look at Zach and get on the radio *
' ALS-1 to COPA We are available on radio, Is there any chance we can post up at the fire for possible assistance?. '

(hey you have a call check the EMS center)

* Zach and I are walking back to the ambulnace from dropping off our patient and hear the request by RA-1 for an additional ALS unit. *
' COPA, ALS-1 is available on the air we can take on that request from RA-1 if necessary. '

"COPA ALS-1, if RA-1 or Scene commander requests another ALS, you may respond. BLS-1 Please respond code 2 to scene"

"Basic 1 Copies traffic"

*After getting in the driver's seat and strating the rig I pick up the mic*

"Basic 1 were enroute from EDC"

*As we pull up on scene*

"Basic 1 to dispatch: Be advised we are on scene"
