Fire with protesters

Over station 1 alarm:
"Light Force 1, Rescue Ambulance 1, Station Chief respond to ERT Fire Station Two Construction Site. Support Team Fire and Rescue on standby"
Over police radio
"Units in the area of Fire Station Two construction site respond code three for crowd control to a possible arson fire. Protestors on site of the station with a fire started amongst building supplies. No arrests are to be made at present time.

EAT
911 call came in from supervisor when pulling his men in home for the day due to the protests, a fire was seen in amongst several stacks of wooden building supplies, and a pickup truck parked nearby. Cause is unknown, however arson is a factor. Police are to move the protesting crowd to the left side of the area in respec to the road. Be aware six personnel are remaining in the construction office while we handle the situation. No arrests are to be made for this possible arson unless another crime is committed by a protestor. We are moving them for scene safety. Fire is to move in and proceed to attack the supplies from all angles. A fire hydrant is operant at the right side of the site. Supplies are located in the centre and towards the top right support beam. The truck is in between the two stacks.
TAC please report to station and standby in case of need of more powerful presence.

DC Burke, Dispatcher Jennifer (NPC, basically just there to clear you when I'm not able to respond in a reasonable time, you can say she cleared you.)

Concerns: Protesters may not be overly willing to move when told. Some may think they are being placed under arrest. Protesters number in the range of 10-12, and could possibly get violent. An arsonist may be in the group, however no one is believed to be armed otherwise.

The blue square is a steel structure raised to the level of 1 sotry with a corner support beam in each corner, and I beams conncting each corner. The blue rectangle is the construction office, and the grey area is concrete. White is gravel.

*I hear the tones drop and hear the call come in. I run to the pumper and grab my bunker pants and throw them in the truck next to my jacket. I start up the engine and flip on the light and get ready to pull out.*
"P-11 to COPA is the area around the office private property?"
*I reach under the seat and grab a copule of zip cuffs and shove them in my cargo pocket just incase.*

* I jog out of the break room and into the bays and open the drivers door to SEV2 and grab the mic " COPA: SEV 2 awcknolodges the call, we'll be standing by in quarters"*
' He jack and austin, if we get called to the scene, mind if i drive?'

"S1C Responding from my residence. All units responding stage one block out until PD has cleared the scene."

"RA-1 received."

*I step out of my chair and walk out to RA-1. I step into the boots and pull up turnout pants, and step into the drivers seat*

*I start the engine as Cory and Dean get in. I put it in drive, then pull out of the bay. As I approach the road I press the Master button activating the lights, then hit the Manuel button on the siren a few times. I pull onto the road towards the construction site*

"P-11 to Chief we advise we just recieved out TTO gear in me and jansen are ready if you need us before PD arrives."

((We weren't dispatched, so Squad 1 isn't coming yet.))

"Negative P11, Too many men for just a couple of us. Let's let the police do their job."

*I hear the tones drop and immeadiatly take off my apron, throw it on a chair, and run down to the bay. Then I put on my boots, pull up my pants, tighten the straps, and put on my jacket. Then I grab my helmet, open the driver's door, and jump into the squad. I throw my helmet on the dash and start the squad. Then I wait for everyone to get in.*

* I jog out to the truck open my door and pull my turnout pants on, grab a seat and put my headset on. *
' Ok bruce im ready to go. '

*I put on a headset and listen to the sound of the engine hum as I wait for clearance. Then I roll down my window and stick my elbow out.*

*i run to the ladder climb in my gear, and hop in the drivers seat. fire the ladder up and flip on the emergency lights. i look over and see hannahan and the rest of the crew climbing in. i put the truck in drive and pull out of the station hitting the Q and closing the door behind us. i hear Hannahan put us responding*
'this should be fun' *I say to my self while weaving in and out of traffic*

* Looking around the truck i suddenly become aware we have u very new faces on this rig. *
' Wow 2 new probies, Well guys just be cool with everything and relax and it should be ok. '

(i'm clearin us since were only staging anyway)
"P-11 enroute code 3 fast and bright"
*I see everyone hop in and i pull out*

I hear the tones drop, my first call back on the FD. That familiar sound and adrenaline rush when you get a call. I run down to SEV-1 pull on my bunker pant and my boots except my jacket and helmet I throw them into SEV-1 and grab the radio. "SEV-1, call received, On standby" I sit back and relax, grab a red bull and wait for Karrignton to get in.

"UMC-1 en route"

I run out and put my gear on and get into the passenger seat. I open up the bay door.

(Are we responding to this one? Or on standby?)

(SEV's are on stand-by)

I hop in the squad just before it leaves the station

"PC-2 enroute Code 3."

"Reporting to station; will stage and be ready for deployment."

**I get into my POV and head on down to the station. Using my hands-free phone, I let my friend know that I won't be able to do anything today. I also notify the other TAC members that I'm on my way.**

(Its a bit too late, but its better late then never)

*I get my belt and my cool weather uniform, dress it, put my glock in my belt.*

*I've been sitting on the roadside between Phoxlind and Truelit for some hours now, monitoring traffic and doing speed measurement. Nothing out of the ordinary today... As I hear the fire/protest call coming in, I pick up the radio mic from the console, clear my throat then press the transmission button and speak:*

"Dispatch, PC-7. Do you want me to respond, over?"

*Run over to my gear rack and jump into my pants and boots, pull up the suspenders and throw one arm into my coat. I grab my gloves, helmet, balaclava, and head towards the truck*

*as I step onto the truck and jokingly say "Man I hope this thing still runs, it's been awhile!"

*I grab a seat buckle in, and get my SCBA on and adjusted, and wait*

(well going with the trend of gloves and helmet I'm going to assume in canada a balaclava is nomex in america?)

*I throw my bunker pants on and open the door, as I climb in the truck starts moving and i finish putting my gear on and start putting on my pack.*

The guys in my hall call it that, technically it's just a hood. Balaclava is like the hood that covered everything except your eyes and mouth, sorry about that

yeah it's just a translation thing some people call them nomex cause thats what there mostly made out of some people call them what you call tme it's all about where you came from and what you were taught

*After waiting without any reply, and the chatter about gunshots coming in, I decide to respond regardlessly. I bring my mic up to my mouth and press the button:*

"Dispatch, PC-7 responding to arson on construction site code 3, out!"

*I put the mic back on it's holder bracket, activate my warning lights and siren and take off towards the scene.*

((It's 15 hours I think, right?))
"Squad 1 responding to scene, Code 3."
*I flip on the lights, put the squad in drive, and pull off of the complex. I turn on the wail and honk the horn as some cars pass, but they eventually stop and I pull out on to the highway and head towards the scene.*

haha dont be sorry, i learned something today haha, i was just curious

(Since I think were done with the thread and I want to say it before I forget to mention in it in the summary....next time you make a diagram i'd pick two differen't colors after i read it three times i realized one was rectangle and one was square but the first couple times I read through it i wasn't sure which object was the builing and which was the office. Just a thought)
