High Level Rescue with fire

*Station Alarm*
"Ladder-1, Support Team, Station 1 Chief respond to8 Fort Basio Lane to a 5th floor platform rescue. Be advised fire has started on the platform."

EAT
Five training soldiers have been trapped on a fifth floor platform when they lost their ladder up. The radios and other communications were not brought up, and when they attempted to use flares, the flare ignited wooded items on the platform. Fort Basio MPs are stating that there is only wooden barrels and tables on the 15'x15' steel platform, however with the fire, they requested our rapid response for rescue. Due to the area, helicopters safely rescue.
Ladder 1 please set up the ladder for rescue. MPs are also requesting we extinguish all fires.
SEV-2 please stop at the military base entrance and run a supply line from the hydrant there to the scene (about 600 feet up from first building, at the end of the road kinda) Once hooked up, please await further orders
RA-1 please standby for victim treatment, possible injuries.
S1C please make command with the MP posted at the tower base that called us.

Time: 1535h
Weather: Clear, no wind, cold
Concerns, fire is consuming small area with four men trapped up there!

"SEV-2 responding code 3 to fort basio entrance"

*i run and climb in my gear hop in the truck fire it up, flip on the emergency lights. Realse the parking brake, put the ladder in drive, grab my head set and wait for the rest of the crew*

*runs out of my office and down into the bay and open my bay door. Open my drivers door, turn the truck on, hit the lights and turn the siren on hyper-yelp and start torwords the call.*

"S1C responding"

*starts my way off the complex and navigating through traffic*

* depressed from not getting to watch Wipeout I step into my turnout pants and climb onto the truck and put on my headset *
" Ok Bruce im ready to go. '

((Ladder 1 per me you may respond due to it being fullstaffed period and no need to wait for POV's))

*i grab the mic*
"ladder 1 responding"

* I roll down the window and smell the evening air as we weave through traffic. *
'Hey Bruce do you want me to grab with you up there or stay down for Ladder support?'

*I hear the call go out from the bunk room, run over to the pole and slide down. I see Collins get in the box, and Doug hops in the driver's seat.*
"RA-1 En route."
*I reach down and trun on the lights and siren as Doug pulls us out of the station.*

(No one called it in? lol)
*I climb in the truck with only my bunker pants after being dragged and put on my headset flipping on the PA-300 as well as toying with the Q.*
"Ladder 1 en route. ETA 1 1/2 more minutes."

"BLS-1 Please go into standby for this call"

* I throw my bunkers on and then throw the rest of my gear in the truck as we puul away. I throw my headset on and start putting my jacket, nomex, and scba on, leaving the straps relatively loose*
