ERT Wide Alert. Bomb reported.

While sitting at my desk, I receive a call from the secretary, informing me that the FBI is on line 5 demanding to talk to me immediately.
'ERT, DC Burke Speaking'
'Burke, this is Hernandez, FBI Field director for the state. I need all your men to report to the mall in Phoxlind now, there's been reports of two bombs planted, and one to go off within moments. Expected casualties are very high'
'Dammit, Got it, I'll disptach everyone out. Seal off Phoxlind, evacuate whatever you can.'
I hang up, and run out of my office to COPA.

"All units, all units, report to the Phoxlind Mall for a bomb threat, three bombs or more, terrorists are a definite, possibility of casualties are high. We need everyone out there now!"
I radio personally to the EDRD "When you get one scene, report that you're there, and get a medic and take him back to get the MCU, then go to the scene"
He confirms this and I go to prepare the COPA information in EAT

EAT
FBI reported that the mall is a target of a slew of explosions, resulting in many casualties. Report there code three. I need medical to set up Traige. EDRC will hand treatment, Riles will coordinate transport. I want Fire to set up extinguishing. RA-1 will help with Traige and rescue. Squad 1 will search, rescue and evacuate. Pumper 11 will work with Ladder1 to contain fire. No one is to post anything in the operations topic or eat, just send me a pm. All police personnel are to secure scene. No one in, no one out. TAC enter and look for suspects inside. Doubtful you'll find any, but try. FBI will be helping secure scene, however ERT is to take command. PEMS will be on scene to treat all casualties, assisting with transport and triage. PFD will be reporting to assist with fire containment if needed.

LFA responding

"RA-1 received, Phoxlind Mall."

*I run out to the bay, get my turnout gear on quickly, and step into the drivers seat. As Cory gets in, we both shut our doors, I start the engine, take off the parking, press teh master button and respond to the Mall*

"BLS-1 Responding"
*I grab my jacket as I exit, among other things and hop in the ambulance
*Turns the engine on
*Flips on his Lightbar
*Puts the vehicle in reverse and exits the complex
*Shortly after exiting flips on his siren.

"PC-2 has left Vandals call to head to mall, will be Code 3 to Mall, ETA momentarily."

* I read the call on the pager, and sprint to the EDRC. I pull out of the hospital lot, and flip on lights and sirens
"EDRC responding code 3. Will advice when on scene. BREAK. EDRC to any medic, I need one to take back and get the MCU."

**I hear the announcement, and run for my gear, put it on and jump on the engine**

"P-11 Responding"

"PC-7 diverting to mall, out."

*I quickly get into RA-1 as we're marking enroute.*

"Ladder 1 enroute."
*I put on my seatbelt and start strapping on my SCBA to myself while en route.*

I see Burke dispatch all the units for the bomb call. I walk over to him, "What do you want me to do DC?"

PC-3 has left drunk vandal call, and is now en-route to scene.

*I make a U-turn, flip on my lights, and begin accelerating towards mall*

Congratulations.. All of you failed my test.

This was a test to see really who reads posts here.. Obviously none of you did. I put it in the middle not on the outside, because not everyone will seperate every bit of information, and sometimes a very important tidbit is in a paragraph of text, so you didn't read and you ended up responding and evacuating the mall for nothing... Have fun with the angered and injured shoppers..

This goes to show exactly what happens when you don't read. Calls go totally askew,like so many before.

*I turn off lights, pull over to the side of the road and feel embarrassed for not reading the entire post*

*I hop into the front seat off the RA and feel like an idiot. I grab the radio mic.*
"RA-1 to LFO, are we cleared to go back in service, from this?"

Everyone is cleared to return to the station.. I've got lots of chores at home I'm sure Gab would love some help with!
