Ok, I think that I will be the only person to say this, but lay off the probies for a while, give them a few months to get used to the FD and everything, then let the pranking begin.

Most places your a probie for atleast 6 months, so I say 1-2 month wait then 4 months of pranking to begin.

just a tip, idk how strict your department is, but seriously watch what you guys do, you start messing with them too much, they are going to quit..also if you start messing with their gear, that could ruin it or make it unsafe for them..for ex..if you put things in their boots or whatever, they will go to throw them on and not realize anything, because guarnteed they are not expecting that..

but on the other hand, something they did to me that wasnt that harmful was if you have gear racks ( which im sure you do) put the bunkers where the helmet should be, coat where the bunkers should be, and helmet where the coat is...or whatever vice versa

Hahahahaha!! That sounds fun. Just make sure they have their headset on somehow XD. The cinnamon test is make them swallow a tablespoon of cinnamon without any liquid elp such as water or milk or anything Smile. How about trying to scare them someway. Look on youtube for some ideas. I've found plenty!

It depends on the department, at the city of columbus our post used to have its on Batt. because of our size and the number of members that were/are FF/EMT and FF/PMs doing primary response as basically the fire aux. In other places like Worthington, they helped with the old apps, but the would only ride with the main rig, and they didn't have any trucks.

After about thirty years with the same insurance, and the post doing what I descibed about last year the insurance changed and cfd had to shut down that Batt. for columbus.

How about this, get a clown mask ( a scary looking one) if you have lockers or a somewhat secluded space, use it. If you have lockers, put a thin friend in there and when the probies check the locker, the friend jumps out at them. It worked before and it's on youtube but I can't find it yet. If its a secluded space, hide in it until a proby passes by then scare the crap out of them. I can't do this since the guys at my place might get so scared, they might TRY to punch me lol and I'm not haveing that haha. So give it a go.

Here you have to be 18 to become a firefighter it sucks
that is why I want to take an explorers program
the reason I said this is becuase Hannahan is only 16 and he works at a fire station

With us you could join at 14 but have to be finished with 8th grade and when you turn 16, you could ride along with your gear and evverything but it has to be with the station you live near. The station with your house as a first due area for it to respond. I could do everything a firefighter could do but enter a burning building and use hurst tools...yet. I might ask the firefighters to teach me though haha. I could put out car fires and things like that and go on all calls they do and when you become and EMT, you could ride on the fire medic and get those ALS code 3 calls Wooo!!

nah, gotta disagree, getting wet is nothing, so they'll dry off...worst case, they go to a call wet, not that big of a deal, messing with their gear though, the chief would nto approve of that, i gurantee it, and even if they helped you do it, it is very unsafe

Search firefighter gets burns from wet gear in google. The wet gear turns to steam, and basically turns you in to a steamed firefighter. The cupcake in the helmet however is not going to do anything except turn his head in to a frosted, sugary mess.
