Man trapped on top of Radio tower.

"Ladder 1 respond to Trulit radio station by state fair, man trapped on radio tower."
*EAT*
A 911 call has come in from a man trapped. Harness broke and cannot get down. Please hurry.
Time:1534h
Weather: Still very very light snow
Concerns: Could fall and die. Weather is cold. No other ERT resources avialable.

*I get my radio off of my radio strap and press the push to talk button.*
'Ladder 1 responding ETA 3 minutes. Time out: 1535'
*I grab my gear off of the truck and put on my boots and jacket, jump in the drivers seat and grab my headset.*
'Let's go Bruce. I wait until everyone gets in the cab. Everyone in yet?'
"Ladder 1 to COPA, do you have any more info on the vitcim?"

* I jump in the now crowded truck*

"None, he dropped his cell phone when he described his location and his situation. Trying to find out what he's doing there"

"10-4. Can we get BLS-1 on standby?"
*I put my radio down as my heart races as we get towards the call.*
'How do you think he got there?' I say over the blare of the EQ and the airhorn.

" That's a negative hannahan, we've got no ERT EMS available for transport. I'll call over the ERDC to see if I can't get some medical personnel on standby just incase. All our guys are at the accident"

'Probably trying to tear down from the fair. Oh and Lt. I would feel more comfortable with ALS-1 or BLS-1 and EDRC on stand by.'

(no offense but if he falls from a radio tower he's dead...)
