Re: really fun games
I assume by "downloading" you mean "walking to the store and buying it"
Yeah it's pretty neat. I love all the destruction you can cause, buildings fall, the earth is gets scorched and cratered... And the artillery barrages! Once you get the higher level ones... *drools*

It's a RTS. You control squads of soldiers.

Re: really fun games
Well, in CoH you tend to DO damage in stead of trying to limit it

Re: really fun games
Yeah I new it was RTS. Have you guys ever played Command and Conquer? It's and RTS game that takes place from now and a little bit into the future, as there's like lasers and stuff, but they still use things like stealth bombers and Hummvees.

C&C is awesome. I have The First Decade, which is all the C&C games made in the first 10 years, stopping at C&C Generals: Zero Hour.

Re: really fun games
I love Zero Hour. I love Renegade too becuase it's 1st person, but it won't work on my computer. I tried reinstalling it 3 times, but it still doesn't work...

Re: really fun games
Yeah, Renegade and Zero Hour are my favorites. However, Red Alert 2 has it's perks--like naval units. I mean, in Zero Hour, you can play as the US or the PRC, two of the world's greatest superpowers WHO BOTH HAVE A NAVY, yet you don't have naval units. What's up with that?

Re: really fun games
I know, LOL. It's all land battles, but it's still fun. I always play as US Air Force and I build like 2 air fields. Once you get the supply drop zones, you make money like crazy! Then I just send in all my planes and blow the h**l out of the enemy base, haha.

Re: really fun games
My strategy depends on who I'm playing as. As the PRC, I like to build a ton of Redguards and a few Battlemasters, and just swarm them. As the US, I build a bunch of tanks and HUMVEEs, fill the HUMVEEs with rocket soldiers, and go attack them. They'll have Comanche air support, with a few Raptor strikes when viable. As the GLA, I just build some Rebels, tanks, and go kick butt.

Re: really fun games
I never play as the GLA, they suck. I like the US and China is pretty good, too. They have the best tanks and nukes (of course).

Re: really fun games
I have a mod, it's called the money tree. Every month, it gives you 4 billion dollars, so you never go bankrupt. I use it if I want a huge city with lots of money and no debt worries.
