I read the alert, and press the alarm button for the station 1. "Ladder-1, Pumper-11, Squad-1 respond to building alpha-five off of the Fort Basio fenced area for reported fire, be advised, possible arson. No occupants." I let go of the button, and let the alarm ring at the station, waking up the boys.
I send out the EAT pager dispatch at this time as well.

*OVER EAT*
We've received a report of a fire in an abandoned structure just off of the military base. Structure is a former admin office, standing 4 stories tall. No occupants as verifed by Military in a sweep through about 10 minutes before the fire was reported. There is only one entrance to the building unless entered by ladder and that area was watched. Possible Arson. Requesting LFA respond.

Time: 0001h
Weather: Mountain Fog rolling in over Phoxlind Area
Crowds: Light. Military personnel observing, however being military they are an aide, not a problem. May be used for crowd control if civilians arrive or rescue if needed. Medics in crowd.
Traffic: Virtually none. Given time and area, should be clear driving.
Concerns: Possible arson. Be on the lookout.

* I roll out of bed, angrily and head out to the truck bay* " Guys! we got the big one!" I yell. * I throw my gear on and jump on the ladder waiting for the rest of my crew for my first call!*

I hear the bells and hop out of bed and slide down the pole, get on my bunker gear and get in the driver's seat.

*I start the engine and turn on the lights, then I grab the radio and say: " Squad 1 to COPA, are there any dangerous things we could encounter on scene you know of?" *

I wait for the others to get in the truck and put it into Drive. I roll out the bay and grab the radio again "Squad 1 enroute code 3" [0002h]

*i get outa bed run to the ladder climb in, start it up flip on the lights and pull out of the bay whilst hiting the Q*
"ladder 1 responding" (0002)

"PC8 is en route code 3"

Negative PC-8, police is not required.

"Received returning to patrol"

*I jump up and run to the pumper and jump in. I wait for everyone to get in and roll out.*
"Pumper 11 responding, ETA 6 minutes, time out 0003."
*I blast the Q behind Squad 1 and Ladder 1 and turn on the powercall. I see a massive amount of smoke in the distance and start to get ready.*

Slow down, Johnny! I slide down the pole in my undies and get into the pumper and then change...
