Re: venting
if you go back to page one I was talking about a team mate who doesnt know how to play aginst his own team... he struck again He gave one kid a concussion and either tore or strained anothers growth plate. We are now down to 20 active players and for practice the lineman (which is what I am) use bags and are not practicing very much due to are already low numbers that just went one smaller.
As for Birdwell, that just sucks. What did you do?

Re: venting
That sucks! That kid is just injuring everyone. Like today in gym class, we were playing football. I was gaurding this kid, and he kept yelling at me for "punching" him. I wasn't!

Re: venting
yeah and lol with some of the teams we play punching is nothing, even though it is wrong.
I got an email backfrom our hospital today... I can't take EMS classes until I am atleast 17 according to state law that means another two years... although maybe its good, it will allow me to make sure its something I want to take... It would be a shame to spend money on classes like that if I don't use them

Re: venting
I can join an explorer program next year, but I can't take the EMT classes yet. Let's see...what was bad today...OH YEAH! Everyone thinks I like this girl that I don't like, and my friend's girlfriend wrote something, so now my friend thinks I like his girlfriend (I DON'T!!). She's the craziest and most spoiled girl on Earth! Bad day, but I'm still in a good mood.

Parking in a closed stores parking lot, that just so happend to be owned by the towing company. Plus the no parking sign was behind an overgrown tree limb.C. Davis wrote:Parking in a no parking zone?

Well, in your defense, the sign was "hidden," so you didn't know. Plus, you should be allowed to park in a CLOSED store's parking lot.J.Bridwell wrote:

Explorer only requires 14 and in 9th grade or 15, but your not allowed to go on codes or gruesom scenes until your 17 1/2 with parent permission, or 18. EMT you need to be 17 turning 18 by the end of the class, or 18. lolC. Davis wrote:I can join an explorer program next year, but I can't take the EMT classes yet. Re: venting
Yeah, I know. I think I saw some explorers outside of the station today when I was going to soccer practice. I'm gonna be with them next year! (No, seriously, I'm REALLY eager to become a firefighter. Both my uncles and my dad were/are firefighters, and I want to continue the legacy!)

In my county, you need to be at least 16 and in 11th grade to go to EMT class. Also, in my county, the fire explorers get to go on all of the calls that our station goes to (the station closest to our home or the station our advisors assign us to). We just can't be in a burning building but we could put out car fires, brush fires, help with medical calls, and such.MY COUNTY IS AWESOME!!

Re: venting
i am part of the explorers as soon as our next meeting and I turn in my paper work lol, we meet once a month which sucks cause it feels like forever in between. I am glad I joined cause I was nervous that it would be like some other things and fade away, but so far I love it! I hope this is one dream I keep! (I never really lost it just didn't want to tell people cause the said it was stupid when I brought it up)
As for the EMT classes the director is excited to have someone my age intressted... to bad I am going to have to tell him its because I want to be a firefighter lol
As for my day I was imbarssed by a friend who was joking around saying I liked someone, I denied it and turned red cause I do kind of like her... soooo oops

Re: venting
XD. That's crazy. Do you guys get to fight live fires in Iowa where you live (in training)?
I hate people who hold up lines at BK or Mickey D's because they can't make up their minds lol.

Re: venting
Lol, um we do do alot of practice fires, someone donated a property with lots of diffrent structures for training, we get to play with foam, rappel and do a winter search rescue treat and traansport with snowmobiles and foot patrols, other then that we just survice trucks and go through equipment. The only way we get to go on call now is if they are needed when we have a meeting, they are tring to pass that once we are 18 we can go out, this is only like the second or third year of it, but I would like 17 at min. wit one year of "training" or going to the drills and such... that wou;d be cool!

Re: venting
Yeah, we get to go on calls as far as I know. Not huge ones, but just medicals and stuff. I saw the truck responding twice today. Cool.J. Hannahan wrote:
